Meeting Presentation: The ABCs of PureMVC
Presenter: Keith Sutton
PureMVC is a lightweight framework for creating applications based upon the classic Model-View-Controller design meta-pattern. This presentation will provide a brief overview of the MVC design pattern and the PureMVC (www.puremvc.org) implementation and then walk through how to use it to build a basic/foundation application. This presentation will also examine the use of Flex Visual Graph Library as a component employed within an PureMVC based application.
Free Flex Training Topic: Beginning Cairngorm
This will be a quick overview into the various parts of the Cairngorm framework. We will create a small Cairngorm application during the session. This app is the same one from my article on Devnet: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/articles/graduating_pt3.html
RSVP for each session separately by sending an email to fugrsvp@gmail.com.
I am going to get many of the Flex team to hand around for the meeting so the croud will be extra special for this SILVAFUG meeting.
See you next Thursday!
